Meet your i-Workshop Instructor: Chef Sonny Mariano
Chef Sonny is the Highest Medalist in 2010 for the Philippine Culinary Cup and has also nabbed the highest gold medal for the Tapas and Finger Food category in the FHA Singapore Culinary Challenge 2016. He has worked with numerous restaurants and brands, including Red Crab and SELECTA Philippines Ice cream, as a chef and consultant. Currently, he is a chef consultant at the Tasteless Food Group.
At this year’s i-Workshop READYfining Food Culture, he taught us about chips and snacks.
In the chips category, Chef Sonny has shared recipes like the Ube Rice Crackers with Salted Egg Cheese Sauce, Bowtie Pasta Chips and the Spinach Nachos. He has also prepared snacks like Bicho Bicho Eclairs, Maccheroni Spaghetti, and Piyaya.
