Tastesetters Workshop for this year held in MIHCA , Mandaluyong
Last March 11, 2026, Tastesetters had their first Tastesetters Workshop for this year which was held at Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) in Mandaluyong. The workshop was attended by our clients from the F&B industry through the coordination with their respective account managers. During the workshop, Chef Avery Manaloto talked about the food trends for 2026 while Ms. Sandy Cu discussed why our Tastesetters products would be beneficial to our clients who would want to expand their products by incorporating these key ingredients to their dishes.

After the presentation of Food Trends for 2026, Chef Eugene Raymundo held a cooking demo making 4 dishes (Golden Iced Tea, Raspberry Cinnamon Bites, Protein Poke Bowl, and Kalkag Risoni with Moringga Pangratratto) using our Tastesetters products showing its versatility and ease of use. Samples of the dish were also passed to attendees to taste these dishes.

The final activity would be a group cook-off between chosen participants from the workshop. They will be making a dish using our Tastesetters and other SYSU products and presenting it to our judges, incorporating what they have learned on this year’s food trend. Our friends from Sea King provided the seafood ingredients while Masflex have graciously offered their cookwares for the participants to use during the competition.
