SYSU in Super8 Fun Fest, Fusion Manila & Tindahan ni Aling Puring Convention 2017

Sysu Brands Star at Serye-Themed Super8 Fun Fest
Clara Olé, McCormick, San Remo and Lee Kum Kee products were showcased in the teleserye-themed 2017 Super8 Fun Fest last April 27 to 29 at the World Trade Center. Now on its 5th year, the event is Super8’s way of giving back to their key business partners and showing gratitude to their loyal customers’ continuous patronage.
Kusina Gold, SYSU’s very own booth inspired by television’s afternoon primetime slot, offered products of the four brands in exclusive event-day-only discounted prices and promos. Cooking demos were also done daily, featuring a variety of dishes to demonstrate usage of the product range, and to give guests an idea on how to incorporate them into their everyday cooking routines. Guests were able to get a taste of the food prepared through the continuous wet-sampling.
Some of the dishes sampled are pasta dishes using variants of San Remo products and Clara Olé sauces: Creamy Tuna Pesto with Clara Olé Cheesy pesto and Clara Olé Béchamel White Sauce, Carbonara Manila using Clara Olé Carbonara Pasta Sauce and Pasta Mexicana which is made more flavorful with the Clara Olé Three-Cheese Pasta Sauce. Lee Kum Kee, on the other hand, was used to whip out stir—fried vegetables.
The highlight of the three-day set-up is the talk and cooking demo spearheaded by Chef Dj Santos, aptly entitled Taste Setter: Creativity that Shapes Food and Beverage Trends. The session was an informative one, as Chef DJ shared his expertise in the food industry while whipping up three mouth-watering dishes – Everlasting Sesame Pasta, Tondengs’s Fried Rice and Anton’s Pesto Fish Steak. Those who attended the segment also brought home Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauces.
Today’s hottest celebrities graced the event and entertained the crowd with their performances. Lucky shoppers also got a chance to win big prizes in the raffle draw.
The event was evidently a huge success and it was a good avenue for Sysu brands to sample their brands and for new products to be introduced to Super 8 customers.
