In the grand finale of our special four-day Easy Gourmet culinary showcase at the 2024 World Food Expo (WOFEX), Chef Nathaniel Uy a.k.a. “The Hungry Chef” takes the stage as the fourth and final Flavor Maestro to explore the versatile range of TastesettersⓇ Brand products following Chef Sonny Mariano, Chef Wado Siman, and Chef Celina David. From his role as chef consultant to multiple successful restaurants, to his presence as a culinary expert on platforms like GMA News and CNN Philippines, Chef Nathaniel has prepared a delightful demo ready to captivate and redefine taste buds.

Here are The Hungry Chef’s unique recipes exploring the exceptional flavors of TastesettersⓇ Brand products:

 

MIXED SEAFOOD IN CREAMY PINEAPPLE SAUCE

Dive into Chef Nathaniel’s irresistible Mixed Seafood in Creamy Pineapple Sauce, where the star of the show is none other than TastesettersⓇ Brand Aloha Blend Concentrated Sauce. This creation promises a lovely blend of creamy textures and refreshing tropical notes, showcasing the versatility of the concentrated sauce in transforming your selections into fresh, innovative dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 120g TastesettersⓇ Brand Aloha Blend Concentrated Sauce
  • 50g Clara Olé Bechamel Sauce
  • 200g shrimp
  • 120g squid rings
  • La Española Pure Olive Oil
  • 18g onion
  • 10g garlic
  • 10g red bell peppers
  • 2g Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1g chili flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Tabasco Sriracha (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Heat up La Española Pure Olive Oil in a pan Sauté onion and garlic. Add in shrimp and squid rings. Season with Old Bay seasoning, chili flakes, and salt and pepper.
  2. Add in Clara Olé Bechamel Sauce, TastesettersⓇ Brand Aloha Blend Concentrated Sauce, and bell peppers. Simmer until seafood is cooked.
  3. Drizzle Tabasco Sriracha for an extra kick!

 

EARL GREY TEA WITH CREAM CHEESE FOAM

Elevate tea time with Chef Nathaniel’s Earl Grey Tea with Cheese Foam, using TastesettersⓇ Brand Cream Cheese Dessert Paste! Create a luxurious, velvety topping that can also complement other desserts or pastries on your menu.   

Ingredients:

  • 100g TastesettersⓇ Brand Cream Cheese Dessert Paste
  • 100ml fresh milk, warm
  • 40ml whipped cream
  • 20g sugar
  • 4g salt
  • 240ml hot water
  • ice
  • 2 bags Earl Grey tea

Procedure:

  1. Steep Earl Grey tea in hot water for 15 minutes then remove the teabags.
  2. In a bowl, dilute TastesettersⓇ Brand Cream Cheese Dessert Paste in warm fresh milk.
  3. Add in whipped cream and sugar then whip using a frother until thick.
  4. Add ice on the Earl Grey tea and top with cream cheese foam.

 

CHEESY BLACK BANGUS WITH CREAMY CRAB PASTA

Leave a lasting impression with Chef Nathaniel’s Cheesy Black Bangus paired with Creamy Crab Pasta, featuring TastesettersⓇ Brand Cheese Blend Concentrated Sauce. The richness of the cheese will surely elevate the succulent flavors of any seafood dish on your menu. You may also try it with chicken, pork, or beef!   

Ingredients:

  • TastesettersⓇ Brand Cheese Blend Concentrated Sauce
  • 1 pack Clara Olé Crab Flavor
  • 1 pack Clara Olé Pasta Negra
  • 3pcs. bangus fillet
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
  • La Española Pure Olive Oil
  • 250g Balducci Spaghetti, cooked
  • 20g onion
  • 20g garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce (optional)

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, marinate bangus fillet in Clara Olé Pasta Negra for 1 hour.
  2. After marinating, wrap bangus fillet in aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  3. For the pasta, sauté onion and garlic in La Española Pure Olive Oil. Toss in cooked Balducci Spaghetti and Clara Olé Crab Flavor.
  4. Transfer in a plate and drizzle TastesettersⓇ Brand Cheese Blend Concentrated Sauce on top!
