Sysu Intenational Inc and Lee Kum Kee at WOFEX 2023
Sysu International Inc, the distributor of Lee Kum Kee products in the Philippines, participated in the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2023, the biggest and most influential food exhibition in the country. The event took place from August 2 to 5 at the SMX Convention Center. Lee Kum Kee showcases variety and quality of Lee Kum Kee sauces and condiments, which are known for their authentic Asian flavors and premium ingredients.
Lee Kum Kee invited four renowned chefs to demonstrate their culinary skills and share their tips and tricks on how to create delicious dishes using Lee Kum Kee sauces. The cooking demo and sampling sessions featured Chef Thirdy Ijiran, Kevin Raymundo, Janin Jayco of U-RACK and Chef Esagany Asoy of Mann Hann.
Chef Thirdy Ijiran is a culinary instructor at the Academy of Culinary Excellence, a corporate chef, a commissary consultant, and a recipe collaborator for FMCG companies. He prepared a mouthwatering dish of Lee Kum Kee Kiampung and a Fish Head Lapu Lapu with Taosi., a simple yet flavorful dish that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Chef Esagany Asoy is an enthusiastic, self-driven and adaptive head chef with 30 years of experience in the field of Chinese cooking. He assists across all Mann Hann branches in Metro Manila in the aspects of kitchen, training, and menu development. He whipped up a classic dish of Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce Hongma and Chili Wanton Balls.
Chef Janin Jayco has eight years of culinary mastery and has carved a remarkable path in the world of gastronomy from humble beginnings to the helm of renowned URACK BAR B Q WINGS and PIGS PINTS in Pampanga. She is committed to culinary excellence and relentless pursuit of perfection and continues to inspire the next generation of culinary virtuosos. She cooked Braised pork belly in garlic hoisin sauce and Beef Fried Rice with Lee Kum Kee Liquid Seasoning, a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.
The demo was hosted by Ana Jimenez, a popular TV host and lifestyle blogger who also shared her own experience of using Lee Kum Kee sauces in her everyday cooking. She also engaged the audience with fun games and giveaways from Lee Kum Kee.
The cooking demo and sampling sessions were a huge success as they attracted hundreds of visitors who were eager to learn more about Lee Kum Kee products and recipes. They also enjoyed tasting the dishes prepared by the chefs and received free samples of Lee Kum Kee sauces to take home.
