Preheat oven to 325 degrees F, line with parchment paper 2pcs &#8211; 9-inch round pans<br \/>\n2. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.<br \/>\n3. Make a well at the center and add the liquid ingredients: egg yolks, juice, and vegetable oil. Mix well with a wire whisk to form a smooth thick batter.<br \/>\n4. Using an electric mixer with whisk attachment, mix egg whites at high speed until foamy. Add the cream of tartar, lower the speed to 8 and add the sugar in a steady stream. Whisk until stiff but not dry.<br \/>\n5. Fold the egg whites into the thick batter in 3 batches.<br \/>\n6. Transfer to the pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until springy.<br \/>\n7. Remove from the oven and immediately turn over a cooling rack to detach from the pan. Peel off the paper and allow to cool<br \/>\nVariations: can use other Clara Ol\u00e9 Jams like Mango, Blueberry, Strawberry and Pineapple<\/p>\n<p><strong>BUTTERCREAM<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Combine the egg whites, sugar, lemon juice and salt in a bowl. Heat over a double boiler whisking to prevent over cooking. Heat completely checking with your finger.<br \/>\n2. Remove the bowl from the heat and transfer to a mixer with a whisk attachment. Whisk until the mixture is foamy. Add Clara Ol\u00e9 Gourmet Jam Orange Guava and continue whisking until the mixture is completely cool<br \/>\n3. Add Crisco Butter Flavored Shortening a little at a time until the mixture starts to thicken, continue until creamy and spreading consistency.
